Executive Teams

High-performance teams. Everyone talks about them; everyone wants them; yet all too often they elude us. Some manage to assemble a cast of A-players, only to discover that their ability to perform as a collective doesn't materialize.

At Valutis Consulting, creating top teams - teams that truly thrive as a collective - is what we do. By building awareness, harnessing motivation and teaching the skills needed as a group, we watch as teams begin to gel and grow. Creating the foundation of trust, shared purpose and normative behaviors takes time, but it is the only way to ensure lasting performance. Confronting the politics, highlighting the dynamics and chasing the "pink elephants" out of the room allows a team to roll up its sleeves and start working on what matters most – your business.

We have honed a number of tools, techniques and methods for doing this. We customize our efforts and interventions to whatever the team is confronting on its journey. There are too many tools and techniques to list here, but following is a highlight of what our team development services are not. While some might believe these are fundamental team building activities, you won't find these tired and cliqued services with us.

Our team development services are:

  • NOT a two-day event filed with "rope-based" team activity that never transfer back to the office.
  • NOT a series of "group hugs" where we pretend to care about each other when the boss or facilitator is looking.
  • NOT a simple personality test that then has me stand in a corner with others who have my "type" and look around the room at the differences.
  • NOT easy, predictable, scripted or canned.
  • NOT (fill in the blank with team building you have done in your career that left you wanting for something more substantial and sustainable).

Discover the impact a cohesive team can make on your organization.
