The following survey is a preliminary needs analysis that can be completed by anyone working at any organization. You will be asked 45 short questions and then given recommendations regarding potential developmental needs of your business. Please answer all questions in order to create the most useful profile.

Typically, the first step in any kind of organizational development or change management program requires an evaluation of the business's true needs. Often the problems businesses attack are merely symptoms of other problems that end up being ignored, resulting in compounded problems and symptoms. A good needs analysis helps pinpoint where actual problems lie so that the corrective actions can help move the business forward. Your responses will be kept confidential and used only for self-diagnosis purposes.

Primary and secondary needs of your organization will be listed based on your responses. Although this survey is in no way a substitute for a comprehensive needs analysis, it will provide you with some general insights and directions you might wish to consider. Have several people from your business complete this survey and compare results. Doing so will increase the reliability and focus on the areas most worthy of your attention.

We will continue to develop and expand on this needs analysis survey using the data we have collected from those visiting our site. If you have any questions about this survey or are interested in a more comprehensive organizational needs analysis, please e-mail us at Valutis@Valutisconsulting.com.

Also, after looking at your results, use our Resource Center for a list of recommended books, web sites, and list serve groups that might be helpful in addressing some of your organization's needs.
